Why classic sheep's wool?

Sheep's wool is the most traditional knitting fibre of all — the source of the fisherman and highland sweaters worn for generations. It is the most hard-wearing of all the wools we work with, and the lanolin left in the yarn gives natural resistance to wind and moisture.

We use undyed wool from Polish sheep — the colours of our sweaters are the natural colours of the fleece: white, browns and greys. In doing so we support local farms and a short supply chain.
